Recycle your used oil.

Did you know that recycling is the safest, most efficient and most cost-effective way to reclaim the value of used motor oil? And in order to do your part, all you have to do is return your used oil to one of our many Public Recycling Centres around the province or take your car to be serviced at a certified oil change shop.

We’re the BC Used Oil Management Association (affectionately known as BCUOMA) and we’re a not-for-profit group dedicated to collecting and recycling used lubricating oil, oil filters, oil containers, antifreeze and antifreeze containers in BC.

Our goal is to provide British Columbians with an eco-friendly and cost-effective way to recycle our program materials and keep everyone safe. Each year, approximately 50 million litres of oil and 3 million litres of antifreeze are collected and responsibly managed through our program.
