Zero Plastic Waste Strategy Webinar – 2021
On June 2, 2021, UOMA was pleased to offer members a no-cost opportunity to hear an update on the national Zero Plastic Waste Strategy and Action Plans.
Like many things in 2020, implementation and engagement on the plan was affected; however, work continued. Shelly Nicolle-Phillips of the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment has been heavily involved in CCME process and, in her presentation, she outlined the status of the components of the strategy in order to help UOMA members better understand how the strategy may impact first sellers of oil, filters, antifreeze and DEF in Canada.
